Mommy! Where Are The Chocolate Chips? {Our Weekly WrapUp}

“Mommy! Where are the chocolate chips?”

My husband and I are used to the occasional midnight questions. My kids get motivated in the evenings. That is when most of the schooling and exploring of new ideas takes place.

And being teens, all this learning and thinking makes them hungry. So last night, ’round midnight, a disembodied head popped through the curtains around my bed and spoke.

“Mommy! Where are the chocolate chips?”

Now for some of you this might be startling, but for my husband and I are used to those late night questions. And we know that the disembodied head is most likely to be our teen daughter.

I think that this is just part of life with teenaged homeschoolers.

So please tell me – Are your kids like this? Are they quirky too?
