My kids are starting high school on Monday. I have prepared and planned and prepared some more. I have a fantastic lineup of new material for them. We are focusing in on enhancing what they really love to study and do. Everyone is excited.
My son is using the Everyday Cookbook (review coming soon) to cook a special meal on Sunday so we can celebrate. My daughter is in charge of dessert. I am supplying the diplomas and my husband is working on the principal’s speech. Homeschooling really has become a group affair in our house. My kids are no longer passive participants in their education. They seek out subjects that interest them and know how to lay out a path through the learning process. I guess this means they really are ready for high school. At least for our little homeschooled high school.
