I am always on the lookout for inexpensive, and preferably free, sources for historically-significant literature for my kids. I rate libraries by how many GA Henty novels are in their stacks. Yes, I embody that quintessentially geeky homeschool mom!
And so I was thrilled to find the Hathi Trust Digital Library. Anyone can go online and read their books, which are not haphazardly spelled versions like those you find in Project Gutenberg. These books scanned versions that are formatted correctly and the illustrations and covers are intact. And, yes, those books include over 40 GA Henty books.
