Learning Science through Fiction

A few years ago, I read my kids a fun little story book called “Logic to the Rescue” by Kris Langman. In addition to learning the fundamental principles behind logic and chemistry and propagation of errors, my kids really enjoyed the fantastical adventure of the heroine a creative and new land.

Now the heroine, Nikki, is back in the Land of Reason with a new adventure called, “The Prince of Physics.” These are fun stories and offer an imaginative review of subjects your kids already probably know. Also you can read them to a wide range of ages at once. For the little ones the story is a first introduction to a lot of ideas and concepts and for the oldest it is a fun story with a review of past lessons. All in all, a great activity for summer!
