Now About F
We are on week six of our blogging through the alphabet adventure. This week we gather together to share our blog posts themed on the letter F. Please feel free to jump in and comment, or link up your own post. We are happy to have you!
F IS FOR. . .
- What you feel: FREEDOM to choose the right materials and activities for your children. You are their mom. You know better than anyone else what they need and what will delight them and instill a love of learning int heir hearts.
- What you wish for: FULFILLMENT (Those perfect homeschool moments when your child runs up to you to show an amazing project he went and did all by himself or that loving smile your daughter flashes you as she looks up from her morning reading, those fill your heart with love and give you the fulfillment you need to get past the hard days)
- What will help you: FREEBIES (there are so many of these around the Internet and most homeschool moms collect them almost as a hobby)
- What you will use most: FORGIVENESS (For yourself because you will not always manage to pull off a great homeschool day, but it is OK. Your children are being raised and taught by the person who loves and knows them best: you. It will be fine.)
- What you pray for: FAITH (2Cor 5:8, see below)
- Great curriculum to try: Fourth Day Press (their Classical Astronomy looks amazing!)
- A fun homeschool activity: FINDING random toys during an impromptu scavenger hunt. You can turn clean up into a game this way!
Verse about Encouragement:
for we walk by faith, not by sight
– 2Cor 5:8

I’ve not heard of fourth day press before. Good to see a new to me supplier.
Great list! I need to check out the fun with cooking class, my five year old is all about helping me in the kitchen right now.
Forgiveness…such an important one to remember.
