Now About J
We are on week ten of our blogging through the alphabet adventure. This week we gather together to share our blog posts themed on the letter J. Please feel free to jump in and comment, or link up your own post. We are happy to have you!
J IS FOR. . .
- What you feel: JOY as you look in your children’s eyes each day
- What you wish for: JUSTIFICATION for your choice to homeschool when you come into contact with critical people.
- What will help you: JOINING with other homeschooling families to let your children play together.
- What you will use most: JUDICIOUS application of lessons – there are days that your kids are just not up for lessons. When you realize it is one of those days, stop right away and skip to plan two. Everyone has a different plan two, depending on what your kids love. My plan two was to get out the art supplies or science toys and turn on audio stories and music. What is your plan two?
- What you pray for: JOY (Ro 14:17, see below)
- Great curriculum to try: Jim Hodges Audio Books (Jim is the reason my kids love all the G.A. Henty stories!)
- A fun homeschool activity: JUMPING on a trampoline.
Verse about Joy:
for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit
– Ro 14:17

critical people do that don’t they? Make us want to justify our choices….
I have been jumping to our second plans on some days more than others with the changes in our family dynamics. So glad that homeschooling allows us to do that.
