As the school year comes to an end, I realize that it has been a good year. In fact, the best my kids have ever had. The key? Consistent repetition without worrying about short term achievement.
The most exciting project the kids did this year was a year-long history, geography, and literature project covering California. We used a lot of kid creativity and it came out really well!

I was so excited to see your beautifully done CA map. We are currently studying CA history. Was there a specific curriculum or activity pack that you used for your displayed map?

Hi Shawna,
Unfortunately, I did not use any specific curriculum or activity pack for this map. It was a framework I put together that was designed to keep my kids interest going and make use of their academic strengths.
I am working on a downloadable guide for this curriculum and should have it done in a week, barring any unforeseen hurdles! I will post it on my page next week. Hopefully it will help.
