When my kids were little they loved Zoboomafoo and the Kratt Brothers. They still love anything related to Zoology and this week we began re-watching (for the umpteenth time) a National Geographic series that the Kratt Brothers did called “Be The Creature“. It is absolutely fantastic and worth hunting down for your homeschool.
Since we obviously needed some variety, the kids decided to open up a documentary series we have called “The Blue Planet” which was filmed before David Attenborough jumped off the deep end of the sanity pool. It is also fantastic and (of course) we need to draw the curtains and plug in the super sound system in order to watch a documentary about coral reefs because it looks and sounds so incredibly good that way – almost like you are right there.
