Q is for Don’t Quit

I spent the last week trying to figure out what to write for this week’s post. No matter how many cobwebs I shook from my brain, in spite of a week filled with a whole pile of those fantastic homeschool moments with my kiddos, I just could not come up with a Q concept.

The word that kept coming to mind, over and over, was Quit.

Why? Who knows. Maybe it is because we homeschool year-round and now that my kids are entering 11th grade I am getting tired. Don’t get me wrong – I love every precious moment. The good and the bad and even the ugly. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. But sometimes I just feel tired.

Have you felt that yet? I suspect we all do. From time to time.

I think the most important idea I want to share is: DON’T Quit! Even if it would be so much easier to stop, it is only a short road in the overall scheme of life. You and I can do this, right?

So we should just get to the link up. . .

  1. Yeah…quit is a word that has been floating around for me for the past month or so. Lots of things changing at my house and I have been struggling keeping on top of a lot. But I don’t want to quit anything – homeschooling, blogging, reviewing, etc but I need to work on balance.

  2. I’m finding myself tired as well… my son just wants to keep going and I want him to just stop for the summer. I shouldn’t be like that, yet… I am. i do admire his stick-to-it-tiveness though
