This song is one of our favorites. The Hub and I would listen to it on Friday evenings before going out on the town (back in the old days before we had a family and when we were footloose and fancy-free). He also played it on Monday mornings while he ironed his shirt and got ready for work and I packed up and readied myself for a week away from him at graduate school. He would try to cheer me up with this song and tell me that everything would be fine – I would be busy and I could look forward to the next weekend together. But, those were bittersweet times – and so I love this song even more.
On a Friday like today, on the precipice of the weekend and a new world, it is time to remember how much you love your husband and share a moment together and maybe give this song a listen…
