Change is one of those words that many people avoid. Not me. I am that person who grows her hair out just for the joy of lopping it off. I thrive on change.
Looking at my life this evening, I realize that love had changed me. I look in the mirror and I no longer see traces of my past. I only see myself. Do not mistake me, this is a great thing. I just did not realize I could ever get to this point.
So, I think to myself, where did this change come from? Love and time. Love can change you. Love can lift you up and let you become your own person.
The love between my husband and I forged the foundation of our family and now that our children are teenagers, I find that I am changed. For the better.
