Do not let it pass by too quickly. Tread with joy.
Tread with joy through your life. That is the idea I strive for these days. I wish to tread. Not scamper or run or even fly. I want to move slowly enough to witness my children grow, be present with my husband. I was to experience the fullness of life without moving too quickly.
Joy is so important
I also want to treasure each joy that passes by. There is joy in being given each new day. There is joy in sharing with new and old friends. And there is unfathomable joy in the gift of motherhood and faith in He who watches and guides our lives. That joy knows no bound.
Consider joining me as I tread with joy. Consider sharing your joyful moments.
Hold your loved ones close, wrap them in your joy and your faith, and hang on tight!
Books I am reading these days
I read for fun, but also to try to keep up with what my kids are learning. This last part feels like a race I can never win sometimes, but I suppose trying is what being a homeschool mom is mostly all about.

“Treading” is a good term for this approach to life! I don’t like feeling like I’m always rushing to the next thing and not really enjoying this thing right now. I’ve always tried to live as much “in the moment” as possible. 🙂
